Single Family Homes Technical Assistance
The Minnesota Housing Single Family Homes division provides technical assistance and information sessions to housing industry partners and professionals. Note that low registration will result in a session being canceled. To register for a class, click on the date for the training you wish to attend.
First-time homebuyers looking for Home Stretch homeownership education classes should visit the Minnesota Home Ownership Center (HOC) website at www.hocmn.org.

Energy Saver Rebate Powered by the Fix-up Fund | St. Paul | Tuesday, March 16, 2010 9:45 a.m. -10:45 a.m. | This session will cover the process of closing Fix-up Fund loans that are compatible with the Energy Saver Rebate, including rebate-eligible improvements; the details of rebate eligibility; the Rebate Application that will be completed by the homeowner and contractor; and the role of the rebate-participating Fix-up Fund lender in delivering the rebate funds to Fix-up Fund borrowers. Fix-up Fund lending partners that wish to participate must have a minimum of one person per organization participate in Energy Saver Rebate training and enter into a written agreement with Minnesota Housing. |

There will also be an opportunity to utilize HDS via a hands-on computer lab session for those who are interested. NOTE: This session is open to all Minnesota Housing lending partners. |

| Mortgage Loan Programs (MMP, CASA, HAF) | St. Paul | Tuesday, March 16, 2010 8:00 a.m. - 10:30 a.m. | These sessions include changes to process due to our recent transition to the MBS structure. This training is for Managers, Loan Officers, Processors, Loan Specialists, Underwriter, Closers, Post Closers, Shippers, and Final Documents Staff who work with Minnesota Housing mortgage loan programs and have not yet been trained in the MBS structure. |
